How this blog was created...

Although I've been creating for quite some time, for some reason I've never made the time to create a blog to show off my creations. Until now. Thanks to the encouragement of two wonderful ladies, I've finally decided to create a blog to display my creations. So first off, I owe them both a big thank you! They know who they are.

Next, you should probably know this about me--I'm an avid party planner/crafter/writer/painter, but I'm a real estate attorney by profession and the mother of a delightful and energetic 3-year old. This means that blogging in and of itself poses some difficulties for me and this blog in particular (which I've started so late in the game) poses a particular challenge. It's the lawyer in me that won't divulge names without consent and will continue to insist that I maintain as much privacy as possible in this blog, short of shutting it down altogether. It's also the lawyer in me that insists that the first several posts on this blog be archival in nature, to recap on my creations to date (or at least those creations that I bothered to take photos of). It's the mommy in me that doesn't have the time to keep up with a hectic legal career, an active 3 year old son, an obsession for creating things, and now a blog, especially one that recaps all my prior creations! On that basis, I apologize in advance if I don't post on this blog as often as I'd like to. But I do hope that you will enjoy my posts (barring, of course, my decision to shut down this blog altogether!)

Now, what is this blog about? It's about parties. It's about art. It's about crafts. It's about writing. It's about pretty things that brighten your day. It's about anything and everything I create, using whatever medium takes my fancy at that moment, stemming from my desire to create beautiful, lasting memories of birthdays, holidays, vacations and special occasions for my family, for my friends, especially for my son, occasionally for myself and now, hopefully, for you too.

  1. I loved seeing all your party ideas! You are very creative and I can tell alot of time and effort went into planning and executing each one. I don't know how you do it all, juggling work, kiddos, and party planning, but thanks for posting on your blog to share with the rest of us. Keep it coming!

  2. Thank you so much for the kind words. Yes, its quite a juggling act! But it's fun!
